West Tamworth Bowling Club vice-president Col Choyce said the two-day carnival consisted of a lot of high-quality performances.
"I think pretty much everyone who came along really enjoyed themselves," Choyce said.
"Being in teams allowed everyone to play with who they wanted to and that lead to a lot of really good competition.
"Overall, I think the competition was pretty strong and everyone got a lot out of it."
Choyce said the club would now turn its attentions to upcoming carnivals.
"We will be hosting a triples carnival on May 19," he said.
"A lot of our attention will go towards that and of course hosting our annual ANZAC Day bowls competition as well.
"After that though, we will look towards hosting our annual Queens Birthday long-weekend carnival in June, which should hopefully be a lot of fun."
