Q and A with Tony Bishop
NDL: As a team, what key areas do you want to improve upon from 2018?
TB: Consistency is something we will certainly be looking to improve this season. We were in a lot of games for patches during last season but didn't really put a full game together. That will be our focus this season.
NDL: Who has been your most improved player?
TB: I'd say it is a tie between Cameron Holt and Zeb Douglas. From what I saw from Cameron at the Crossroads Cup, he has seriously improved and at 16 turning 17 he has plenty of confidence and room to keep improving. Zeb comes from a big family within our club and I think at 17 turning 18 he will make a name for himself in his own right.
NDL: What will be your team's strengths this season?
TB: I'd say one of our biggest strengths this season will be our options up forward. I think we have a few guys able to kick goals for us and we should hopefully kick more goals than last season.
NDL: Who is the team to beat in 2019 and why?
TB: In my opinion the New England Nomads will be the team to beat this season. From what I saw at the Crossroads Cup and who I know wasn't playing for them that day, they will have a really talented team and will be tough to beat.
