REIGNING Premier League champions Tamworth FC will begin their title defence against East Armidale in round one after Northern Inland Football released this season's fixture.

Beginning on April 6, the season opening round will be action-packed and will feature a local derby between South and North Armidale, while the Demon Knights play host to North Companions.
Having the bye in round one means Oxley Vale-Attunga will have to wait until round two to begin their campagin when they play host to East Armidale.

Round four is also shaping up to be an exciting date on the fixture, as the Demon Knights will seek redemption for last season's grand final loss to Tamworth FC in a grand final replay.
The 21-week Premier League home and away season will come to a close on August 21 ahead of the finals series.
The 2019 season will also feature the inaugural under-18 competition, which will be launched with a double header on April 5 when the Kootingal Kougars White take on the Hillvue Rovers and South Lighting face off with Kootingal Kougars Purple.
