Out of 20 entrants, Mrs Barwick took out the top prize - which is valued at $730 and includes members tickets to the Country Championships final in Sydney - after members of the public voted for the red outfit she wore on Sunday at the Tamworth Jockey Club.
Mrs Barwick has entered a multitude of fashion competitions over the years but has never been to Royal Randwick.
"I don't know what to expect. I'm just looking forward to it [attending], the facilities and meeting some new people," she said.
Mrs Barwick added: "Thanks to everyone that voted and to The Northern Daily Leader and Racing NSW."
Our Fashion Star will be taking her husband, Mathew, along to the Country Championships final.
Mrs Barwick said her husband was "just as excited" as she was, except for different reasons.
"My husband's always been involved with racing," she said.
"His grandfather [Trevor Smith], who recently passed away, was a trainer and his dad [Terry Barwick] was a jockey."
