City captain Brad Smith said “it should be a good match-up”.
“I think they'll be looking for a bit of redemption after the last time we played them,” he said.
“We welcome back Dan Whale and Simon Toyer, so that will bring batting depth to the side,” he added.
“We'll have to bowl well and not get bogged down with the bat in the middle overs, like we did against Souths.”
The last time the two sides meet, in a one-dayer at Riverside 1, City won by nine wickets after the Redbacks were routed for 84.
City tops the overall standings but are in fourth place on the T20 ladder, with one win from three matches.
Norths, who lost to Old Boys in a T20 clash last round, are in second place on the T20 ladder.
