The Gunnedah Tennis Club pair stared on the court, eventually helping take home a trophy in the teams event while substituting for a Northern Territory team.
The duo’s coach Craig Louis said the Margaret Court teams event was a “memorable experience for the boys”.

“The Northern Territory team was short and Mason and Vitorio were able to help fill those spots,” Louis said.
“Both boys played very well all day and especially in the final, they had a lot of fun and made some new friends in the process.
“I think meeting Margaret Court herself was also a real treat for the boys as well.”
With the Shepparton tournament now behind them, both boys will now turn their attention to grass court tournaments in Albury and Wodonga in the coming days.
“It was really good for the boys to get a hit out before the next two tournaments,” Louis said.
“Getting the exposure to grass courts is very important for their development as players and I think they adapted to it very quickly.”
