The squad includes Connor Roberts (16 years) and Alex Hayes (13 years girls), who have already qualified for the national age championships in Adelaide in April.
The state titles, a Swimming NSW event, start at Sydney Olympic Park on Friday and conclude on Wednesday.
Tamworth City’s other squad members are Daisy George (15 years), Emily Deasey (14 years), Clementine Monet (14 years) and Grace Milgate (13 years).
Roberts has the busiest schedule of the team – nine events over the six days.
He has already qualified for the nationals in 100m breaststroke and is .10 seconds off qualifying for the 200m and 400m individual medley relays, which he hopes to achieve in Sydney.

Hayes will open with the 200m breaststroke on day one, before concluding with the 100m breaststroke on day five. She will swim those events at the nationals.
Tamworth City president Grant Simm said Roberts and Hayes were strong medal contenders.
“These guys will get a good tester as a lead in to the nationals,” Simm said, adding that Roberts had qualified for so many events at the state titles “it was hard to keep up with him”.
“Both of them would definitely be ranked in the top three [for their main events] and I would think that they’d be expecting performances like that,” Simm said.
He added: “We’ve got a number attending state for the first time, which is great.”
