THE year’s top performers will be honoured at the South Tamworth Bowling Club on Saturday morning.
Hosted by the CNDBA, the awards presentation will be the final event before the association merges with the surrounding regions to form one zone.
CNDBA president Ian Bannister said awards would be handed out across several categories.
“All of the clubs in the district will come together for this event and celebrate all of the state event winners as well as the champions across all of the different sections,” Bannister said.
“We will also be presenting flags to Barraba for winning the number fives and West Tamworth for the number sevens.”

Bannister himself will be among the award recipients, finishing runner up in the bowler of the year award.
“Mark Golledge will take home the bowler of the year honour,” Bannister said.
“It is nice to be right up there myself, but Mark has had a super year and thoroughly deserves the award.”
Along with the presentation ceremony, the CNDBA junior teams will battle it out in an annual match with the districts top senior bowlers.
