For the first time in years the Archibald Prize is coming to Tamworth Regional Gallery, an opportunity for art enthusiasts to see all 57 finalists.
“It is amazing to see the incredible range of artistic talent on display at this year’s Archibald Prize and I’m thrilled and humbled to have my work included on display for my local community to see,” Murrurundi artist David Darcy said of his painting.
Darcy painted charismatic 84-year-old artist Charlotte Drake-Brockman, a friend of his with a tough, fiery personality and a heart of gold underneath.
