This will be the fourth Hay Day organised by Tenterfield Shire Council and the Salvos.
It’s happening on Friday from 7am, but this time access is through the Pelham Street entrance near the stud cattle area, near where the bales of rhodes grass and blue grass are being stored.

It comes as the whole of the state continues to classed in drought, despite the occasional rainfall event, and the town’s dam drops to 60 per cent capacity.
In line with Tenterfield Shire Council’s drought management plan, Level 2 water restrictions came into effect on Monday for those on town water.
