Tamworth’s very own ultra-athlete Warren Wright will ring in this weekend’s bicentenary celebrations in his own unique way, on an exercise bike.
Mr Wright will be set up in Bicentennial Park on Sunday, cycling one kilometre for every day since European settlement, while also raising money for a Tamworth girl taking on an even bigger challenge.

Two year old Chloe Coss has been battling a rare and aggressive cancer since March at Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital.
There will be donation buckets on the day, or donations can always be made to Chloe’s GoFundMe page.
“Chloe is still fighting and doing really well, but anything we can raise for her will be great,” Mr Wright said.
“I am hoping to do it in seven hours from 9am, and then joining in on the celebrations.”
On Sunday the Bicentenary celebrations will include an 8km re-enactment walk form Winton to the Peel River, a school march and recognition segment, plus a wide range of entertainment and involvement from several Tamworth community groups.
