Looking for a new job or gaining new skills and training can be a daunting experience for people of all ages.

But there are a number of agencies in the North West and New England area that can help you achieve your dreams and career goals.

Australian Training and Consulting (ATAC) is one of the region’s largest Registered Training Organisations in the New England region, and has been in operation for 15 years.

ATAC specialises in delivering employment-based training in the areas of business and management, hospitality, horticulture, civil construction, retail, workplace health and safety, and specific areas of compliance. As well as this, ATAC also offers many short courses including Traffic Control, Alcohol and Gaming, Food Safety, and many more.

“ATAC works with businesses and individuals to deliver effective, appropriate and inspiring training, specifically designed or thoughtfully adapted for their needs,” said Samantha Crebert, Executive Manager. “We aim to equip students for success both within the workplace and their achievement of their personal goals.”

Joblink Plus Training is an approved Registered Training Organisation (RTO), established in 2008 as an enterprise of Joblink Plus to deliver training to help job seekers move into employment. Since 2008 Joblink Plus Training has expanded to include fee-for-service delivery and increased scope to make further training opportunities available to job seekers and the general public.

Joblink Plus Training is committed to delivering courses that are tailored to meet the needs of each student, as well as offering training that leads to real career options and opportunities. Additionally, they can individualise training programs to meet employers' needs, be it to skill incoming staff or provide professional development options to current employees.

BEST Employment is proud of our reputation delivering jobactive and Disability Employment Services throughout our footprint in North West NSW and South East QLD, and Youth Employment program in the New England.

“From the start, we are led by the jobseeker’s goals and aspirations and employer needs, so we work from both ends to ensure the most sustainable outcomes for all,” said BEST chief executive officer, Penny Alliston Hall.

For over 20 years, BEST has provided an empathic, holistic approach to all its jobseekers and service participants with a non-discriminatory policy.

BEST prioritises constant engagement and follow-up with jobseekers and employers through the process of settling jobseekers in a position. BEST works alongside employers to develop training programs and employment pathways to best meet local need.
