NAIDOC Shield: Boomerangs to clash with long-time rivals Narwan Eels

With NAIDOC Week in full swing, league lovers are reminded to keep an eye out for the upcoming NAIDOC Shield.

Moree Boomerangs will face off the Narwan Eels on Saturday for the coveted trophy.

A-Grade Boomerangs currently enjoy top spot of the premiership table with 22 points. Fifth-place Narwan Eels carry 8 points.

Reserve Grade Boomerangs also sit at the top of the ladder with 22 points and fourth-place Narwan Eels have 16 points.

First-place U18s Boomerangs have collected 20 points and Ladies-league tag are placed third with 16 points. The Narwan Eel’s Ladies-league tag sit on seventh place with 6 points to the team’s name.

The clash between the two clubs will happen at 12pm at Burt Jovanovich Oval.
