
Man, 64, flown to hospital after accident with band saw
A MAN has been flown to hospital after an accident with a band saw.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter responded to reports a 64-year-old man had injured his arm with a band saw on a property at Wollomombi about 2.15pm today.
The helicopter is currently flying the injured man to Tamworth hospital.
The man is reported to be in a stable condition, according to a Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
Wollomombi is a small village situated about one kilometres north of Waterfall Way, and about 38 kilometres east of Armidale.
