Hot dry conditions left the normally pristine Walcha Showgrounds resembling a dust bowl, however, the dust didn’t seem to dent enthusiasm.

The format of the Ringers’ Challenge was changed to a team event, with teams consisting of either two or three competitors of which one competitor had to be female.

There was stiff competition in all the events including novice, open, junior, juvenile, open for open and ladies.
