The Tamworth under 14s carnival has always been a favourite of the sports journalists at The Northern Daily Leader.

The annual carnival will run from Monday January 8 to Friday January 12.
Teams from Tamworth, Nambucca- Bellingen, West Pennant Hills Cherrybrook, Manly, Armidale and a Barbarians side will play throughout the week aiming for the playoffs on Friday.
Each team will play four games on turf wickets if weather allows.
