Camille Maunder, 11, and Lauren Appleby, 10, qualified for the four-day event after travelling to 12 tournaments.
They include last month’s Champion of Champions.
The girls accumulated enough points to represent the North West region in Sydney.
“It’s quite an awesome achievement to get this far,” Moree Tennis Club coach Margie Buckley said.
“They’ve worked all year to make it to where they are.”
While it will be the first JDS state final for Lauren, it is the second finals for Camille. She played in last year’s event.
Six NSW country regions will be represented at the tournament.
The players will compete in under-10, under-12, under-14 and under-16.
Each age group has 24 players. They will be divided into four pools.
The winner of each pool will progress to a play-off which determines the ultimate NSW JDS country champion.
Buckley said Camille and Lauren have been preparing for the event by playing against adults as well as players in their own age groups.
“They’re really pushing themselves,” she said. “I’m so proud of them and wish them the best of luck.”
The JDS state finals run from Friday to Monday. The results of each match will be posted on tournament.tennis.com.au.
Camille and Lauren will be joined in Sydney by other North West players.
