Leonie Carroll says her “passion for fashion” came from her parents.
Her father a painter and her mother a sower and designer.
But Ms Carroll also lives with hereditary paraplegia.
On Sunday, Ms Carroll is hosting a charity fashion parade at the Tamworth Aero Club to raise money for stem cell research for diseases like her own and Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis and more.
Ms Carroll said her disability had made her “a better person”, not taking simple things for granted.
The fashion parade guests will be treated to champagne on arrival, with a bevy a local businesses raffling off goods for the cause.
Tickets are still available and can be secured through The Scarf Room at 6766 6722.
