POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an employee was robbed at knifepoint in Glen Innes.

The offender was wearing black clothing and had part of his face covered with a hooded jumper when he entered the Church St service station about 8.30pm on Saturday.
Police have been told the offender brandished a knife and threatened the 38-year-old attendant.
He forced the attendant into the office before the employee escape, running away.
The offender stole tobacco products and cash and fled the scene.
He was last seen fleeing the scene in a white-coloured utility.
The employee suffered cuts and abrasions to his hands during the hold-up.
Glen Innes police are urging anyone with information on the robbery or who witnessed a white utility in Church St to come forward.
