Eveleigh finished with an individual match haul of 26 points (three tries, seven goals) as the Roos hopped to a resounding 46-22 defeat of the Cowboys at Dungowan.
Walcha crossed for eight tries in total, with hooker Ben Moran and lock Jock Abraham capping tireless performances by crossing the stripe.
Dungowan centre Mitch Brown helped himself to a double, but on the whole it was a disappointing performance for the Cowboys on home soil.
Manilla won the battle of the Tigers, downing Uralla 24-14, with captain-coach Mitch Doring scoring a hat-trick of tries, lifting his side’s record to four from four.
Bundarra Bears consolidated a spot in the top four courtesy of a 30-14 win against Bingara Bullets.
The Bears scored six tries in total, headlined by a brace from five-eighth Luke Deaves.
In other Group 4 Second Division games played on Saturday, Werris Creek downed Barraba 30-24 and Kootingal Moonbi got the better of Boggabri 54-21.
There are no matches this weekend due to the Easter public holiday.
The next match for Walcha is at home on April 22, against the Bingara Bullets, starting at 2.30pm at Captain Cook Oval.
