The scrum-half came off the bench to play the final quarter of an hour as the Melbourne Rebels went down 51-12 to the Highlanders in Dunedin.
Snowden won his eighth cap and third for the Rebels, in his first time as part of the matchday squad since the penultimate round of the 2016 season.
He had a hand in a consolation try for the Victorian-based side, scored by Reece Hodge in the 78th minute.
But the big defeat continues a lean start to the season for Tony McGahan’s side, which is rooted to the bottom of the standings with just one point to its name through five matches.
Glen Innes product Alex Newsome featured in the Western Force side, which lost 24-15 to the Blues in Auckland on Saturday night after holding an early 8-0 advantage.
