A record contingent represented the town at the titles, with 10 teams in action across the three-day event.
Tamworth’s standouts were the 11 years girls, who finished second in their age group.
“Our 11 girls came home with a silver medal, which was fantastic,” Tamworth Oztag junior co-ordinator Katrina Davis said.
The team is coached by Abby Schmiedel and Brodii Ingram, who have both been named in the Australian squad.
Tamworth’s girls also enjoyed solid campaigns in the older age groups.
The 14 years and 16 years girls teams bowed out at the quarter-final stage.
Four of Tamworth’s five boys teams registered wins.
The 12 years and 16 years age groups proved to be the leading lights, each posting two victories during the campaign.
