The country star released her latest single That’s a Tradie earlier in the month as a teaser to her forthcoming album.
Kernaghan will feature in a one and only show at The Family Hotel on Thursday, January 26 at 4pm.
In their blood will feature Ann Kirkpatrick, the daughter of Slim Dusty, and Ami Williamson - the daughter of John Williamson.
“I don’t think anyone’s ever done anything like this before. It’s a one-off show and I think that people can really peel back the layers and know there is a lot more about us, our careers and our families and what has shaped us to be the women we are today,” she said.
“It’s going to be a terrific show, the three of us, and I can’t even add up how many years in country music we’ve had with our families and out on the road.
“The idea was thrown around about six months ago and we just thought we’ve got so many stories to tell.”
Kernaghan said she’s excited to return to the country music capital, after a couple of years off from the festival scene.
“I haven’t been performing in Tamworth for a couple of years, so it’s great to be there and be a part of it all.
“It’s a highlight,it always kicks off the year and it’s good to go back to perform.”
Tania will release All Australian Girl in the new future and describes it as “the most enjoyable album I’ve ever record.”
