The non-competitive mini-tag kids had one last run in the introductory game, before finals were played in the 8s, 10s, and 12s.
Then 12 boys final was an all St Edwards affair, with Thunder playing the Rockets.
The close match finished at 2-2, and went into golden try extra time, where the Rockets found the line first.
Thunder player Jaice Tiberi-Porter was best and fairest.
The TPS Gladiators blew the St Nics Diamonds off the park with a 10-5 win after Abby Bowden showed her class to run in five tries herself and take the best and fairest gong.
Archie Gavin took the award in the 10 boys as his St Nics Westies just beat the St Eds Cyclones 6-5, while the Westdale girls beat the St Edwards Stars 4-3 in the 10 girls, Stella Hibbett getting the nod for best on ground.
Zahlee Betts took the award in the mixed 8 division as her St Nics Green side beat the TPS Tigers 5-2.
