Sonny Satuala and Clarrie Moore come into the front row to join skipper, and Tamworth boy, Paddy Ryan, while Ryan McCauley earns his first start of this years NRC.
Sam Figg and Rowan Perry meanwhile return to the starting lineup, leaving Mark Baldwin to anchor the scrum from number eight. In the backs, Mitch Short will start at halfback in his first match of the season. Partnering him Andrew Deegan will steer a new look back three around the park with Glen Innes’ Alex Newsome rested.
Sydney University point scoring machine Christian Kagiassis takes his place with Reece Robinson shifting to fullback and Charlie Clifton starting on the right wing.
Whilst Queensland Country are yet to get their first win of the season, their attacking potential makes them a real threat.
