THE fate of Santos' coal seam gas wastewater plant in the Pilliga forest is still undecided, with the judgement of a court case against the company delayed.

In April, local activist group People for the Plains argued the Leewood facility approval was illegal.
The judge presiding over the case, Justice Tim Moore, said he would try to hand down a verdict on, or before, July 7.
The Leader understands Justice Moore prepared a preliminary draft of the case, but isn't ready to deliver his final judgement.
People for the Plains spokesperson Rohan Boehm said the group anticipated to hear an outcome later this month.
"We are sweating on it a bit, but so is everyone else – for now, it's just a waiting game," Mr Boehm.
Santos agreed to refrain from using water from the facility for irrigating until July 30, after a request from Justice Moore
The company is in the process of testing and commissioning the water treatment plant, but all water is being returned to the Leewood ponds.
Santos said facility was approved following a "rigorous" assessment process.
