Centre manager Tish Booby invited her friend, singer Arley Black, along to the centre on Wednesday and Friday to give the kids a taste of country music – and they loved it.
Arley sang a few of the songs she performs to the group, and even got the kids up to accompany her on ukuleles.
The Tamworth performer, now based in Sydney, has been playing at the Tamworth and Albert hotels and the Pig and Tinder Box this festival.
Tish said Arley had been excited about the prospect of a preschool audience – a demographic she hadn’t played to before – and had certainly secured a whole new legion of young fans.
