But, unlike death and taxes, it’s no certainty.
“The east coast low – the system that brings the heaviest falls – is also the most unpredictable,” Sky News Weather meteorologist Ben Domensino said yesterday.
“The heaviest rain occurs near the low itself, but at this stage, it looks like the rain will be easing back on Sunday and picking up on Monday, with Tuesday bringing the heaviest rain.
The bout of follow-up rain on Tuesday has the potential for us to see more than 20mm over northern inland, with the heaviest falls on the coast.”
Mr Domensino said the rain was spreading into the north-east
corner, so the ranges and east would see the most moisture from on high. From today until Tuesday, Tamworth can expect top temperatures of 20 degrees, with minimums around the 5- to 7-degree mark.
As we move closer to Tuesday, the chances of rain increase with the rising minimum temperatures.
