From the tiny tots to the taller teens – students from more than 20 schools and regional ensembles transformed the Tamworth Regional Entertainment and Conference Centre into a sea of colour for the first public performance of Dance Festival 2014.
About 1200 public school students from kindergarten to Year 12 are involved in this year’s event and they were hard at work to perfect their moves and techniques for 85
different acts at rehearsals during the week.
For Quirindi Public School students Jessica Golland, Ruby Uptin, Lilly Owen, Evie Gimbert, Bridie Palmer and Lacey Owen it was all about the hand movements as they were hard at it preparing for their big act “rediculous” yesterday. You can catch the schools in action at TRECC for their public performances tonight and tomorrow from 7pm.
