A string of second-half penalties and two cards saw Guyra get swamped by Robb who ended up winning 32-25.
After an evenly-matched first half, which ended at 25-13 to Guyra, Robb had all the possession and kicked its way to victory.
Guyra president Greg Hill is putting in an official complaint regarding the officiating and is in the process of organising a meeting with the NERU.
“The penalty count was something like 13 to one in the second half,” Hill said.
“He was giving them eight or nine phases in advantage and us one and taking advice from Robb players.”
“It was demoralising.”
The penalty count led to some frustration in the second half and a few scuffles ensued.
Flankers Liva Sili and Soane Vahai scored a try each before being sent, with a red and yellow respectively for fighting.
“The frustration was too much for some of the boys and they threw a punch,” Hill said.
“Last week against Armidale the count was around 30 to one.”
“We just want some fair and consistent refereeing.”
Hill said that the first half saw the possession at fifty-fifty and some good football.
Guyra was dominating the breakdowns and getting some good go-forward before swinging it wide to the backs.
“We were getting some good quick ball out and rolling downfield well to get points,” Hill said.
The string of penalties in the second half saw Guyra stripped of almost all possession.
Both sides scored three tries, but Robb kicked several penalties to take the lead and the game.
“We have got the team to win,” Hill said.
“We just need to control our discipline and get a fair chance.”
Guyra will host Albies next week who will be looking to bounce back after they lost to Armidale in the other match.
