Polding is made up of five dioceses north of the harbour bridge and south of the Queensland border, with Tamworth and the North West region falling under Armidale.
Unfortunately, the home field advantage did little to help the boys as Armidale players failed to win a spot in the Polding side to go to the state carnival.
The trial matches were not scored although Lismore and the Maitland Newcastle Diocese dominated the games and the final team.
Each of the two dioceses contributed six of the 14-player squad, with Broken Bay Lismore claiming the other two.
Team convener Bianca Cousins said the skill level was very high this year and the Armidale boys were unlucky not to get an inclusion.
This side will go on to the NSW Primary Schools Championships at the end of the month in Camden.
The girls’ side will be playing in June at Tomaree.
The girls’ side was unavailable at time of print.
