They’re the brainchild of motivational speaker Kim Morrison, who runs events like this around the country under the banner of Like Chocolate for Women.
The first one, for teens, is on Thursday at Macintyre High School, Inverell, between 6pm and 9pm.
Called Teen Sparkle and costing $15, it is a chance to bring your daughters along to hear the messages you might have wished you had heard at that age.
Young women will hear inspirational information that enhances their well-being, self-esteem, self-worth and self-confidence.
Topics covered will include relationships, eco-friendly choices, self-esteem, health and fitness.
The second event will be held at The Roxy Theatre, Bingara, between 10am-3pm on Saturday.
Organiser Chris Smyth says it will be a fun day of health and beauty, empowering women – and had plenty of praise for Ms Morrison.
“She really just wants women to be the best they can be, whether it’s physically or wellbeing,” Mrs Smith said.
“This really is an injection that will spur you on to making better food, fitness and self-care choices that will benefit not only you, but everyone in your inner circle.”
The Bingara event will help women discover nature’s self-care tools, drop the guilt, learn to make yourself a priority and start to nurture yourself again – inside and out, Ms Morrison said.
“It’s about budgeting but not going without; it’s about indulging but not feeling guilty,” she said.
“It’s not only about finding that inner spark and holding onto it – but actually doing something with it.”
