More than 250 people frocked up and partied down for the unique event, to raise money for the Tamworth hospital.
While a final count has not been tallied, close to $15,000 is expected to be raised from the night, with the main fundraiser a gala auction.
Co-organiser Kevin Attard said he was “overwhelmed” by the effort revellers made to fit into the theme.
“People went to an enormous amount of effort – over 90 per cent dressed in theme,” Mr Attard said.
“It really boosted the atmosphere, although at first it was hard to recognise some people.
“I didn’t even recognise one of my main sponsors until I really looked into his eyes and realised it was him.”
The money raised from the ball will go towards buying a video laryngoscope for the hospital.
It was the eighth fundraiser for the Party on Peel, which has now raised more than $200,000.
