Tamworth & Region Weather Facebook page administrator Dave Farrenden filmed the event on his mobile for over three minutes. He said it took a track on the Taminda side of Westdale. (See the video at the end of the story).

The willy willy appears to pick something up in its journey. Mr Farrenden speculated it could have been a tyre but has since decided it must be much bigger. He has asked his Facebook followers whether they know what the object could have been.

On Wednesday there’s expected to be possible thunderstorms with a 60 per cent chance of less than one millimeter, the mercury is expected to reach 30 degrees.
For the rest of the working week; Thursday and Friday are expecting possible showers with 26 and 28 degrees respectively and the weekend will be mostly sunny with 31 degrees on Saturday and 32 degrees on Sunday.
