AFTER taking out two Country Music Channel Awards at the weekend, country music star Adam Brand has announced he’s heading back to our region next month.
The Aussie legend has revealed he’s heading to Nundle in April where he will perform at The Peel Inn in a Sunday afternoon concert.
It’s one of many stops in regional towns and pubs across the nation as part of his Milestones tour in which he’ll be celebrating 20 years of hits.
For Brand, the decision to head to Nundle was a no brainer, after checking out the venue earlier in the month.
'This year being my 20 year anniversary made me want to explore the region of our country that I have never played before,” he said.
“ I’ve been to so many amazing places during the 20 years, but so many I still haven’t seen.
“So i went on the hunt for iconic, family run Aussie pubs…. and it doesn't get more authentic and iconic than The Peel Inn at Nundle. I’m bringing the whole show and we are going to party with the locals, like a local...at their very own local.”
He’ll be supported by Damien Baguley from the Viper Creek Band and his Golden Guitar and CMC finalist Matt Cornell.
It will all kick off on Sunday, April 29 from 2pm until 5pm. There’ll be some great local talent from lunchtime onwards. So round up your friends, bring the family and enjoy a great day out at a great location.
Tickets are $35 for adults and $25 for kids and can be purchased from www.peelinn.comau or call 6769 3377.
