COUNTRY music singer-songwriter Colin Buchanan hasn’t had an album out for about 10 years, but is back with a vengeance with four Golden Guitar finalist placings.
He’s written for just about everyone in country and he’s got two finalist placings from his album, Songwriter Sessions, as well as songwriter credits on Troy Cassar-Daley’s Heritage Song finalist track, Tall Dark Ringer, and Tamara Stewart’s APRA Song finalist track Women In Song.
He also co-wrote Amber Lawrence’s Female Artist of the Year finalist track Man Across The Street.
“I feel like a proud father because I’d had a hand in other songs that are finalists, as well as my own,” he said.
“I get real satisfaction from the feeling I’ve contributed to that.”
