While Armidale welcomed 4.8mm, Loomberah farmer Kevin Tongue received 4mm in his gauge, and Tamworth airport recorded just 1.2mm of rain.
Sadly, no more rain is forecast for Tamworth for the remainder of the week.
Warm temperatures and clear skies expected, with the Bureau of Meteorology predicting the city to hit a top of 32 degrees on Tuesday.
The mercury will continue to rise before peaking at 35 degrees on Thursday.
