AN INVESTIGATION is underway after a teenage girl crashed, damaging two other cars in Tamworth.

About 7.25pm on Wednesday, the 17-year-old was behind the wheel of a white Holden Commodore on Manilla Road when she turned right into Yarmouth Parade.
The girl’s car collided with the back of a parked Toyota Landcruiser, which was shunted forward and struck a red utility.
Police said both the Commodore and the Landcruiser sustained significant damage, while the utility was damaged at the rear.
The teenager was not injured but was was breath-tested at the scene but provided a negative result.
Police said an investigation is underway to determine if a medical episode could have contributed to the crash.
Meanwhile, a man has been issued an infringement notice after failing to give way at a busy Tamworth intersection.
About 9.30pm on Wednesday, the 29-year-old Tamworth man was travelling along Bligh Street when he failed to stop for an oncoming car at the intersection of Peel Street.
A 30-year-old woman, behind the wheel of utility, t-boned the black Mitsubishi Lancer, when it failed to give way.
The woman was treated at the scene by paramedics for minor injuries while the man was not injured.
Police were called and he was issued an infringement notice for failing to give way.
