It wouldn't be a festival without an opening ceremony.
Head along to Toyota Park (Bicentennial Park) off Tamworth's Kable Avenue for the official opening concert on Friday, January 19 from 7pm.
The best part is, it's free.
In true Tamworth fashion, a host of stars will take to the stage at the opening event.
When all the official proceedings are out of the way, sit back on your camping chair or picnic rug and enjoy music from some of the nation's best country talent.
Joining the bill this year is the 2017 winner of The Voice Judah Kelly, who won hearts on national television.
Travis Collins, winner of three Golden Guitars in 2017, will take to the stage along with 2017 Toyota Star Maker winner Rachael Fahim who has been on a national tour.
Tamworth's Aleyce Simmonds is set to perform in front of a home crowd after being nominated for the Golden Guitar award for Female Artist of the Year.
That's just to name a few.
The opening concert also launches 10 nights of live and free entertainment in the park with daily concerts starting from 7pm. Don't forget to check your gig guide for details.
Toyota Country Music Festival Manager Barry Harley said the theme for this year’s Toyota Park concerts is similar to 2017 with a focus on a large variety of “cameo” performances from a lot of acts rather than long concerts of just one act.
“Having a focus on more cameo performances ensures festival goers have the opportunity to experience our country music stars, but also the many emerging, new and popular artists in one place, showcasing the diversity of country music genres we have here in Australia," he said.
