The community meeting will be held at the Tamworth Civic Centre on Wednesday from 5pm to 7pm.
The panel includes representatives from the Sporting Shooters' Association of Australia, Australian Pistol Association NSW branch, Firearm Safety and Training Council, NSW Police Firearms Registry, and other hunting groups.
Senior police from the New England and Oxley Local Area Commands, as well as Tamworth MP Kevin Anderson will also attend.
The forum allows the community to meet with representatives from the NSW Police Firearms Registry and members of the peak bodies from the sporting sector to discuss any issues affecting locals.
Everyone is invited to attend.
