The Leader reported a few weeks ago, there had been a noted increase in bee activity.
Yesterday photographer Peter Hardin snapped these pictures of yet another bee swarm, this one at Tamworth High School.
The bees have already been “rectified” so there’s no danger to students.
Tamworth apiarist Tony Bradbery was called in to remove the swarm.
Mr Bradbery said with some warmer days on the way, the bee activity may pick up again.
He said it could be “very random” where bees decide to roost, from high schools, to toe-bar hitches, to sprinkler systems.
“Wherever the queen goes, the rest will follow,” he said.
