Students, teachers and local dignitaries aswell as religious leaders gathered at the school for the opening of the brand new innovative library and learning spaces.
Deputy Prime Minister and Member for New England Barnaby Joyce attended the event along with Tamworth MP Kevin Anderson and Most Reverend Michael Kennedy, Bishop of the Armidale Diocese.
The official opening of the multi-million dollar development included a blessing with a plaque unveiled to document the momentous occasion.
The modern new facilities are based on a unique open learning model and are believed to be the only learning spaces of their kind in the Tamworth area.
The classrooms include a variety of seating choices, colours and textures, along with the latest in teaching and learning technology.
