The Shute Shield grand finals will be split over two days with the four grade grand finals to be held at North Sydney Oval on Saturday, and the three colts deciders at Concord Oval on Sunday.
The headline act of the weekend will be the first grade grand final between defending champions Northern Suburbs and a Warringah side chasing their first title since 2005.
After being part of Norths’ premiership success last season, former Inverell Highlanders fullback Blake Murray will be hoping to be celebrating back to back titles.
In the second grade decider Quirindi’s Alex Batho and Narrabri’s Will McDonnell will line up for Sydney University against Eastwood, while in the second grade colts grand final Tamworth’s James Hawkin’s Eastern Suburbs side will take on former Calrossy student Jock Capel and Wee Waa’s Joe Schwager’s Sydney University outfit.
