William Ross Burgess and Hayden John Whitney appeared in Tamworth Local Court on Monday where they each pleaded guilty to a string of charges including damaging property, larceny and entering inclosed lands.
Both have pleaded not guilty to a charge of aggravated break-and-enter dwelling in company with intent to steal property, with the charges stemming from the spree across Tamworth between May 15 and into the early hours of May 16.
Magistrate Roger Prowse set the charge down for hearing in September also ordering pre-sentence reports ahead of sentencing for the other charges in October.
The Leader revealed in July the damage bill to repair the skywalk and associated works at the playground was close to $97,000.
The equipment re-opened to the public on July 22 after the repairs were completed.
Both men remain on bail with a juvenile co-accused to front court this week.
