The 32nd Annual Antique and Collectables Fair will be held at the Tamworth War Memorial Town Hall on Friday August 4, Saturday, August 5 and Sunday, August 6.
The fair is one of the most successful outside an Australian capital city, with 23 dealers from across the nation expected to exhibit their items for purchase.
Admission is $8 for adults. Organisers say there will be a “magnificent collection” of early Australian, colonial English and European furniture, along with costume jewellery, fine china, crystal and glassware, clocks, rugs, tools, toys and much, much more.”
“Dealers are most willing to talk to you about their wares and answer any questions you may have,” committee member Euan Coutts said.
“No matter what your tastes, there is sure to be something to excite and interest you at the fair. All goods on display are for sale and all budgets are catered for. Stay and enjoy our reasonably priced morning and afternoon teas of sandwiches, homemade cakes and slices or our delicious scones made freshly on the premises. If you would like something more filling why not try our light meals at lunchtime.”
There’ll be raffles and lucky door prizes across the three day event, which is organised by a voluntary committee of the Oxley High School P&C Association. The event will run 1pm until 7pm on Friday, 10am to 5pm on Saturday, and 10am until 3pm on the Sunday.
