Officers have launched an investigation into the missing roll-top steel fence panels and believe several of the panels were sold without the consent of the owner.
Oxley police are trying to track down the purchasers and believe locals, especially in the Kootingal and Moonbi areas, might have bought the second-hand panels unknowingly.
