Among the players brought into the Companions side is 16-year-old schoolboy Harry Pollock.
He made his Premier League debut in the 3-2 defeat of Tamworth FC in round eight and will play in defence on Saturday.
Thompson said: “He’s got good speed and he’s got a good skills set.
“He’s very balanced, very mature for a 16-year-old.”
Coming off a 2-1 away loss to Demon Knights last round, the third-placed Companions have lost Ben Foster (knee) and Amine Lahia (illness).
Scott Flanagan will be missing due to a family matter and Zach Kam because of suspension.
The clash will be preceded by the inaugural Bob Barber Bash.
The event will involve clashes between Companions and Kootingal Kougars sides from under-12 through first grade.
