The students won 51-5 in the round eight clash, the first of three games in a week.
Coach Sam Ditchfield said it was “a tough game” and he was impressed with the way his team stood up in defence.
“It was probably a lot closer than the score indicated. Our guys won the game through their defence and when they had the ball, they made the most of it,” he said.
Nick Sorrenson was nominated as his team’s best, earning the three points, followed by Tom Bucknell and James Gavin.
“It was hard to split the points,” Ditchfield said.
“We lost a few players during the week but everyone who stepped up into those positions stood up.”
In the second game of their busy week, Robb College take on UNE rivals St Albert’s College on Wednesday night in a re-scheduled round 10 game, followed by Glen Innes-Guyra on Saturday.
