The SASS conference, held at Farrer, offered a packed day of over 40 workshops for the school staff to choose from, based on their jobs and interest.
Chairperson Kerryn Pryor said that conversations on everything from belly dancing to mental health were available, but only after the seminar from the world renowned body language expert Allan Pease.
“These people are the first face of schools, they need to know how to identify body language,” Mr Pease said.
“It could be a crisis, an upset parent, a happy student, and they deal with them all.”
