The stars are aligning at once for the local country star with the album released just in time before she and golden guitar winner husband Lawrie travel to the United States.
The dynamic duo will hit the streets of Las Vegas where they will perform on the opening night of the Viva Las Vegas Festival, now celebrating its 20th anniversary.
The festival is held over the Easter weekend with the Minsons looking forward to experiencing the colour and flare of the big event and the music scene in the US.
But before then, locals are in for a real treat, with Minson’s official Rockability launch to be held on Saturday night at the West Tamworth Leagues Club’s Legends Lounge from 8.30pm.
The local music scene has been waiting for the release of an album from Minson with her debut showcasing 12 tracks and was produced by her husband, Lawrie
The brand new album also features instrumental playing by some of the country’s top session musicians.
Minson also collaborated with local songwriters John Cunliffe, Paul Owen, Brent Larkham and Darryl Keighley.
The songs are a mix of genres including Rockabilly, Honky Tonk and Western Swing.
